| NEW SPEC DEACTIVATED .45CAL COLT 1911A1 AUTO PISTOL in stunning condition with some signs of use to the metal work finish as with the fitted plastic grips. This example is dated 1943 and was manufactured by Remington Rand with inspection stamp to lower frame GHD (Guy H Drewry) at some point the pistol went through the US Arsenal work shops, hence showing various markings to frame including the US ordnance marks RIA (Rock Island Armoury) with FK 'Frank Krack' inspection stamp, the frame is all so marked 'LEAD' which means 'Letterkenny Army Depot' a well marked pistol with lots of history in super condition! This pistol was held for humane disptach hence the small slot both the upper slide and muzzel of the barrel, so it's recently been deactivated condition.
