| NEW SPEC DEACTIVATED .45CAL 1943 DATED COLT 1911A1 PISTOL in really nice clean condition with signs of use to the metal work finish and fitted plastic grips that show no damage. This example has a Remington Rand top slide with a Colt lower frame with refurbish markings to frame indicating RIA (Rock Island Armoury) so it was common to have miss-matched parts post war. At some point this pistol was used for Humane Disptach, hence to two small slots to top front slide and barrel. Deactivated with some moving parts but does not cock and dry fore or strip down.
